Happy 1st Birthday, Happy Careerista!

On the 15th of October 2015, this blog was born in my first own apartment ever, outside Paris. I called it my “creative little space”. I probably sat there in my American style kitchen, eating pasta with Camembert sprinkled on top (yes, I still put some cheeky cheese on my pasta now and then). I had just taken one of the biggest risks in life. I had moved to a foreign country just 11 days before. And wow, I was so happy. So excited. Things were going great, and in all departments in life.

It’s funny how things can change in a year. I’ve always liked speed. And my life is almost always on a high pace. In a year, I’ve lived on eight different adresses. I’ve had people walk in and out of my life. I’ve developed on so many levels. I went from France, to Sweden, to the Netherlands and who knows what’s next? Well I might now, but I will keep quiet for a while about the next destination 😉

And during these past 12 months, I’ve started to build my own little creation – Happy Careerista. A place where I’m completely free to write about my philosophies, share my lessons and it’s even a place for random creativity and thoughts. It might not be perfect, but I’ve realized it’s like me – not perfect but constantly developing. I hope to keep this blog alive even if that means only two posts every month!

I want to thank all my readers, whether they read this blog religiously or once every two months. Thank you for being interested in my story. I hope I can bring a smile to your face and inspire you.

Here’s to excitement and another wonderful year together!
